Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Tora Hylands is an Art Director and Senior Designer who specializes in visual identity and brand development.
In a former (but still very real) life, Tora was a professional Actor, working in both Theatre and Film & Television. Her career in the performing arts lead her around the world and eventually landed her in beautiful British Columbia, where she decided to call Vancouver home.
The decision to pursue design came surprisingly easy and in 2013, Tora graduated from the Digital Graphic Design program at Vancouver Community College. Immediately after graduating, Tora went on to launch a boutique creative agency called killdoubt™ with friend and co-founder, Simon Beach.
Tora still calls Vancouver home and is currently the Art Director at Article, a modern furniture brand based out of Vancouver. If she’s not at her desk, you might find her chasing corners on her Triumph Street Twin, or riding fresh powder in Whistler with her snowboarding girl-gang officially known as Shred Society.
